Position Summary:
As a Dallas, TX based outside sales professional, you are part of an integrated sales team providing exceptional service to SOURCE customers and prospects. You will be responsible for increasing revenue and managing GM by generating new customer accounts. Your focus will be to drive new unified communications solutions for the business of SOURCE with major emphasis on Avaya, Microsoft, and Juniper Networks solutions. Building and maintaining positive business relationships is critical to your success. Travel is required.
The following constitutes acceptable performance in this role:
- Prospect, cold call and develop new business relationships/customer accounts
- Expert at profitably closing deals
- Manage appointments, account activity, and sales calls through the consistent use of Epicor CRM
- Provide consultation to customers regarding the purchase of both applications software and unified communication solutions
- Educate customers on the value and necessity of technology solutions to help drive business performance
- Present and market SOURCE's customer-centric sales model; tailored to customer needs
- Market and leverage our vendor channel partnerships to ensure best solution, pricing and support for customers
- Work collaboratively with internal sales and operational groups to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Keep updated on product and industry knowledge by obtaining required certifications
- Attend product training as required
- Maintain a stellar relationship with peers and other internal partners to foster a culture of accountability and total business success
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of sales experience; software applications, in particular
- Degree preferred
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work productively both individually and collaboratively
- Propensity to successfully manage priorities and respond to deadlines ahead of schedule
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
- Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Exceptional proposal writing skills and expert at presentations with C-level executives
- Experience in the technology industry, preferred
