SOURCE Inc. Sending Teams to Corporate Challenge Competition and Supporting the Special Olympics

Company spirit and civic pride come together at annual event. 

Dallas, Texas – August 10, 2010 – SOURCE Inc. is fielding multiple teams at this year’s City of Richardson Corporate Challenge.  This Olympic style competition between Dallas metroplex companies, benefiting the Special Olympics, begins August 20, 2010 and runs through the end of October 2010.

“This event has raised more than $500,000 for the Special Olympics of Texas during its 12-year history,” said Linda Baker, financial planning manager at SOURCE who is serving as the company’s Corporate Challenge Coordinator. “Everyone in the company is involved at some level. The Corporate Challenge is a unique opportunity for the employees of SOURCE to continue to work as a team – this time outside of the office and on the field.”       Read our story in the

More than 90 employees and spouses have signed up to participate, Baker said, allowing the company to field teams in 18 events. Baker added the team captains are busy preparing with after-hours practice sessions and fundraising events. SOURCE is one of nearly 40 companies participating in this year’s Corporate Challenge. Following completion of all the events, competitors will return for an awards ceremony and celebration at the Richardson Civic Center, Richardson, TX in late October.
