Approval clears path for sales of telecom and network equipment and services.

Dallas, Texas – November 29, 2010 – SOURCE Inc. has been authorized by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to sell telecommunications equipment and networking products and services to state agencies and educational institutions, according to Randy Trice, SOURCE president.

The Texas DIR was created in 1989 to provide statewide leadership and oversight for management of government information and communications technology.  In the years since, the DIR has taken an increasingly proactive approach in delivering information and communication resources to state and local government entities and public K-12 and higher education systems.
