Every year Microsoft brings all their Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) together for a week of collaboration, deep dive sessions and a variety of networking opportunities.  This will be my fourth year to participate in this event. Also attending will be my co-worker and the other MVP at SOURCE, Keith Kabza.

Today my company announced Brad Conley has been hired as our new Microsoft Business Development Manager. I had the pleasure to work with Brad when he was our Business Development manager at Microsoft. He was instrumental in helping grow our Microsoft UC practice. I am excited to have him on our team now. His knowledge of the Microsoft sales cycle and his relationships with the Microsoft account executives will be valued here at SOURCE.
Read the press release here and feel free to contact Brad via my email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

The summer is over, but I'm still going to camp - "code camp."  You can find me speaking this weekend (Saturday 8/28/10) at the 2010 Jacksonville .NET Code Camp. For those you of you who are unfamiliar with this type of event, they are sometimes referred to as an "unconference" and as the name implies, code camp is all about code and development. Yep, Geeks only! They are not venues for advertisement or marketing presentations.  I'll be talking about:

SOURCE is really stepping up their Microsoft UC game!  Since coming on board just a few months ago, I have seen this company’s Microsoft UC practice really take off!  SOURCE has had a healthy and established relationship with Microsoft for many years, but we recently attained our Gold Certification.  Yesss!

Good for SOURCE, but more so, good for our customers! Our gold certifications include Unified Communications, Portals and Collaboration and Content Management.  For customers looking to grow or migrate their systems in one of these areas, SOURCE is able to design, implement and support them after the installation.

In today’s economy, your IT budgets continue to shrink, and you are looking closely at every project to ensure it makes sense for your businesses. SOURCE can help build the business case for investing in Microsoft unified communications (UC) technologies with the Microsoft Unified Communications Business Value Assessment (UC BVA).
