Microsoft announced the release Microsoft Lync today. It is a unified communications solution that brings together enterprise voice, instant messaging and web, audio and video conferencing. The Microsoft products formerly known as Communications Server, Communications Online and Communicator are now branded under Microsoft Lync.

The summer is over, but I'm still going to camp - "code camp."  You can find me speaking this weekend (Saturday 8/28/10) at the 2010 Jacksonville .NET Code Camp.
