As we approach the end of our 35th anniversary year, we, at SOURCE, have been reflecting on how we have reinvented the company over the past three decades to adapt to the changing telecom industry.

As I look back, I am reminded of our unique processes that have solved corporate telecom challenges, our long-standing relationships with top-tier manufacturers, and our dedicated team of industry veterans that make it all happen, day in and day out.  Our 35 years of experience is at work each day for our customers, and I’ve highlight a few examples below.

Trusted Knowledge
At SOURCE, we like to say that it’s better to know, than to guess.  And the same is true for your valued telecom equipment.  To help with asset management, we have developed a patented serialized, bar coding process, known as CLAMP, which identifies and tracks every piece of equipment handled by SOURCE. The serialized bar code allows SOURCE to track repair history, warranty status and ownership – the capabilities of our advanced system are endless. CLAMP is just one example of how we have invested in our software, hardware and leveraged our expertise to increase clients’ operating efficiency and decrease their inventory costs. 

Solid Partnerships
Over the past 35 years, we have established, cultivated and maintained strong relationships with all major manufacturers.  These partnerships and additional training translate into the technical expertise necessary to support installation, sales, repair and maintenance for hardware from multiple manufacturers.  Our central facility can repair more than 100 types of legacy and new systems for optimal turn-around time to meet the needs of our customers.  With five national partnerships today – Avaya, AVST, Cisco, Extreme Networks and Plantronics – our list continues to grow. 

In addition, to help support our growing customer base, we have created and built SOURCEnet, a network of service providers to support enterprise communication in local areas nationwide.  From onsite service of systems to 24-hour support nationwide, we are truly committed to centrally managing your telecom needs. 

Key People
Last, but certainly not least, it’s the people at SOURCE who have made our company something to brag about since 1971.  From the certified technicians and the engineers to the customer-service representatives and the sales team, our ongoing success is fueled by our employees who continually pursue advanced education and certification opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
