Dennis Eldridge: Vice President of Operations
Dennis Eldridge is responsible for all inventory-related operations at SOURCE, as well as remote engineering support. He oversees receiving, stocking, distribution, repair, refurbishment and testing of all telecommunications equipment that enters the SOURCE distribution and repair center. In addition, he oversees engineering support for the SOURCE Technical Assistance Center for maintenance and warranty customers.
Eldridge joined SOURCE in October 1999 with the foremost task of consolidating and streamlining operations. During his tenure, he has improved quality and efficiency, resulting in a 25-percent reduction in space requirements and a nearly 50-percent reduction in personnel.
Prior to joining SOURCE, Eldridge spent 20 years in the computer industry, 15 of which with IBM. At IBM, Eldridge was a manager in the service division, overseeing technical service functions at the field, branch and regional levels. While there, he received an award for "Service Manager of the Year" and a "Vice President's Award" for the introduction of several parts-related programs. After a brief time as vice president of operations for a small manufacturing company, Eldridge served as vice president of product management and then as vice president of OEM sales at PC Service Source. |
